Homey and exceptionally clean hotel, perfect location in the middle of the city. Fresh and marvellous breakfast to star a day with product-spotlessly clean. Location very close to pubs in Monaghan area, Monaghan and surrounding countryside and the bus station. Plus, 10 minutes drive from Diamond Screen Movie Theater. Simply nothing too much trouble, VERY ENJOYABLE stay.

The room I got at Lynster House was gorgeous and beautiful, with an amazing garden view. the breakfast served was exceptionally good and lovely, with fresh bread and granola. the hotel is conveniently located next to Monaghan and the beautiful surrounding countryside, pubs, and the nearby Castle Leslie. the staff and owner were all lovely and made the stay enjoyable.

The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and Elizabeth, the host, treated us like old friends, taking us for a drive around the local area and making us feel welcome.

The house itself is a work of art, filled with beautiful decorations and unique furniture that made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh and healthy options that catered to all tastes. We especially enjoyed Elizabeth's fantastic smoothies. The garden was a peaceful haven where we could relax with a cup of coffee or enjoy a nighttime drink. The bed in our room was comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep. Even though the location was a bit outside of town, it was worth it for the tranquil atmosphere. we highly recommend Lynster House for a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

My husband and I recently had a fantastic stay at this beautiful country property in a lovely rural setting. We were delighted to find that the owner, Julie, is a harpist and she personally welcomed us with a phone call. The property has a great layout, although I would recommend ensuring you book an ensuite room. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning beauty of the surrounding area. We received excellent local advice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
